Just outside the town of Bagni di Lucca, almost in the middle of the mountains. There is a place called Pian di Fiume. It is a place known above all because it is the most beautiful and bathing area of the Lima stream. The stream starts from the Pistoia Apennines and cuts the area of Bagni di Lucca in two. This trees shelter from the heat and create a cool and temperate climate, the water of the stream is clear even if a little cold initially (but you get used to it ...). There is no beach, but smooth stones to bounce on the water. The peculiarity of this area concerns what is around it, namely the Canyon Park: a few kilometers further north, in Scesta, there is this adventure park dedicated to those who love both kayaking and descents and meditation.
